UK Gaming Charts: Mario Kart Speeds Into 2022 Pole Position

There are 5 Nintendo Switch exclusives in the top 10 this week

We’re only in the first week of 2022 but the UK gaming charts are already moving around, and whilst there may not be many big new releases this week, there are plenty of A+ games dominating the top 10, including 5 on the Switch – Mario Kart, Animal Crossing, Pokemon Brilliant Diamond, Minecraft: Switch Edition and Mario Party Allstars. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe grabs the number 1 spot, possibly thanks to all those new Switches unwrapped on Christmas Day.
