Amazon UK are currently allowing customers to preorder the Nintendo Wii U for £199.99. What’s even more confusing about this surprise update is that the listing states a 14 July 2012 release. It’s very much expected to be a mistake on Amazon’s part but who knows - may be they know something we don’t?
[UPDATE 14.06.12] As expected it was too good to be true and Amazon have begun cancelling pre-orders following admitting the listing was an error on their part. We’ll keep you posted on when the official Wii U launch date and pricing is announced.

Nintendo recently previewed the Wii U at E3. Although no official launch date or pricing was announced, we’re actually expecting to see it in Q4 of this year and a price tag of around £280 has been rumoured. Following what is currently sitting on the Amazon website though we’ll just have to wait and see. What do you think? Have you pre-ordered?
