Every refurbished phone sold will include a pair of free cinema tickets to see any film in the UK

Remember Orange Wednesdays? The popular freebie from mobile network Orange that gave you 2-for-1 cinema tickets mid-week? It was a sad day when that went away. Well, another mobile phone company is bringing back free cinema tickets, with the launch of Rewards from mobile phone marketplace Mozillion.

Mozillion is the increasingly popular online marketplace for buying and selling preowned phones – with every phone sold being giving Mozillion’s refurbish, seal of approval and their 2 year warranty. Their angle is that as your phone is selling to a private individual, it sells for far more cash than you’d get trading it in. And if you’re buying a preowned phone, it has Mozillion’s aforementioned guarantee.

“Anyway, enough mobile phone talk, tell me about the free stuff”.

If you buy a refurbished phone from Mozillion, once your phone arrives, they’ll email you a unique code which allows you to claim two free cinema tickets for Odeon or a number of other cinema chains. The tickets can be used to see any film showing – you’ll need to book your tickets online to use the offer.

As part of the giveaway, Mozillion has 10,000 tickets to give away, with the marketplace hoping the offer will prove popular thanks to forthcoming big blockbuster films such as Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and Avatar 2.

James Francis, sales and marketing director at Mozillion said: “We’ve been looking at how we can give Mozillion customers even more value, particularly when buying a refurbished phone, and the launch of our partnership with Odeon is one of many initiatives to deliver that – many people love going to the cinema, particularly with some big films due for release in the next few months.”

The offer runs until the end of November as is part of Mozillion Rewards, the brands new reward scheme for their customers.
